Price Competitively

  • 25-30% of retail is a good start.
  • Check out our Pricing Guide for tips.
  • Consider discounting.  Discount day is a HUGE day at our sale!!!
  • Quality matters.
    • Clothing must be clean, stain-free and in like new condition. Styles should be current.
    • Clean dirty items (furniture, equipment, toys, etc).
    • Test battery powered items, replace batteries as needed.
    • Remember, the better things look, the better they sell!

Display Items Properly

  • Clothes- Spring/Summer items only.  (No long sleeves other than jackets and light weight sleepers.)
    • Use WIRE hangers.
    • Hangers should make a “?” when looking at the front of an item.
    • Close buttons, snap snaps and zip zippers. (broken items will NOT be accepted)
    • Secure items to hangers.  Safety pin if needed.  see Attaching Tags
  • Hang bedding.
  • Do NOT tape over the bar code.
  • Be prepared to assemble pack-n-plays at the sale.
  • Secure small parts.  Place zip ties through baggies & attach or use a lot of packing tape to attach.

Prevent Loss

  • Important: For large items or multi-piece sets, place masking tape with your consignor number, item number and price on the bottom of the item. This will eliminate confusion if a tag is accidentally removed or pieces get separated.

Short on time

  • If you are running out of time, label things that will bring the most money first. Consider discounting your items to increase the chances of selling the items!
