Growing the Community

HWGA-Southland is partnering with local schools to give back to our most important clients- our kids.

HWGA hopes to inspire all kids to read.  Join us for FREE book day, where each child is allowed to pick one book to take home for free!

Unsold item Donations

At the conclusion of our sale, you may choose to donate your unsold items to our local charity partners.  You will receive a tax donation form if you choose to donate your unsold items.

The charity receiving the items will be Belton YoungLives.

Belton YoungLives

Treating each mom and her child or children with unconditional love and respect, YoungLives offers teen moms relief from the isolation and struggle of their daily lives and hope for the future. YoungLives mentors provide friendship, parenting advice and help meeting the practical demands of raising a child. At YoungLives club and camp, moms get to socialize and have fun while their babies get the best possible care.

Donating items (instead of consigning)

This season we are excited to offer a new opportunity to the community.  Belton YoungLives is currently working to raise funds for summer camp.  To help them raise those funds, we are accepting donations of gently used kids items for them to sell at our upcoming event.  So, if you prefer to just GIVE your items away, my team, as well as, moms from Belton YoungLives, will prep the items and enter them into the sale!  You will receive a tax deductible receipt for your donation.

YoungLives Summer Camp

Parenting is an enormous job!  For a teen mom trying to manage finishing high school, working to support her new family and being a good mom… things can often get overwhelming.  At summer camp, these teen moms are allowed to slow down and once again be kids with the same bright future ahead as their peers.  They participate in fun camp activities while learning that the world can continue to open and blossom for them.  Their children accompany them to camp and are cared for by camp volunteers while the teens learn and grow.  Belton YoungLives would greatly appreciate your donations!
